The Safe Queen Day Date -conditions on watches vary, they can be good, bad or excellent but the best condition is only one, the elusive unworn New old Stock condition.  What we have here is a 100% unworn example of a Reference 1803 Day Date in yellow gold from 1977, assumingly it sat in a safety box for 43 years. The case shows patina on the gold and still retains the case back sticker. The numbers between the lugs are clean and fully intact. Further the watch bears a excellent condition Golden Linen dial with all original Tritium which has aged to a beautiful light brown color. The watch is fitted to a non- Rolex President bracelet which shows the same patina like the case. It was probably sourced separately and is locally made. The condition on this is KING.

Brief History

Rolex Day-Date

Rolex revolutionized the industry in 1956 with the Day-Date model, innovatively displaying the day and date through dedicated windows on the dial. It is the pinnacle of the Rolex collection with its multitude of configurations. Made exclusively from precious metals, featuring coveted dials like Onyx, Stone, and Stella, and often embellished with diamond settings and distinctive case decorations.
