1988 Rolex Day Date Factory Onyx Diamond Dial Ref. 18038 (with Certificate)

The Serti Onyx       -       The market for Day Dates has taken off since about 2 years and collectors have realized that there are some really rare dial versions. Certainly of them is the Onyx dial which is the probably one of the most striking and dials on a Day Date. It is very difficult to find a original example among the masses of aftermarket dials offered on the market. What we have here is a very uncommon and rare version of the Onyx dial, the Onyx Serti dial fitted with 10 diamonds in circular gold fittings. The combination of black, gold and diamonds makes this watch look very rich on the wrist and is for sure an eye catcher. The current watch is very well preserved showing no signs of polishing, still retaining the factory finish. Further the watch comes with original Warranty Certificate from Sweden and Serial hang tag. We haven't had many of these in the past and we believe there aren't many around at all.
