1963 Omega Railmaster Pakistan Air Force Ref. 135.004-63 (with Extract from Archives)

We are very thrilled to offer you this incredible Omega Railmaster made for the Pakistani Air Force and which is coming from the retired Air Force Officer in Pakistan. The PAF Railmaster is one of the grails of all Omega Military watches. As it may look confusing that the inscription on the dial is Seamaster rather than Railmaster, here is the explanation. The case and movement and reference number reflect a Railmaster and the Pakistani government specifically ordered this watch with a Seamaster dial as they did not like to have Railmaster on the dial. The condition of the watch is as it should be, bearing all scars and marks you would expect from a military watch worn during duty. The dial is in excellent condition and has its little imperfections from wear without being ever refurbished or relumed. As heard from the previous owner, the Pakistani Military did not send watches to Omega for maintenance but relied on their watchmakers at the base which solely maintained the technical heart of the watch, the movement, rather than works on the case or related to any cosmetic aspects. The case back bears the Seamaster Seahorse, the engraving P.A.F for Pakistani Air Force and as military watches usually do, has the serial number of the movement engraved as well. Watches with Military provenance are even more exciting when they haven't been on the market before, this minimizes the chance of it being transformed from the original condition. The provenance of this very watch is confirmed by the Extract from the Omega Archives, this watch was delivered to the Pakistani Air Force in 1964.
