Jaeger LeCoultre Humidor with 8 Days Clock, 1960s
Brands like Jeager LeCoultre have made a wide range or products which are beyond wrist watches. Leaving the Atmos range apart, they are known for their interesting and very different styles of table clocks, mostly with manual wound 8-days movements. Here we have one you have not seen before. A very rare and fine Humidor box in faut alligator leather bearing a clock in the lid of the box which can be wound from the inside lid. The beautifully aged brass dial bears numbers at 3,6,9 and 12 with long and short index lines inbetween giving it a very Art Deco'ish look. The wooden interior has two compartments and is made for storing cigars. Hygrometer is not included, but can easily be purchased and installed. This definitively is a gem for your desk or cigar room.
