White Gold Bark
Rolex is known to have made Day Dates with decorated and engraved finishing including the 1806 with Florentine finish, the 1807 with Bark finish the rare 1810 with Wavy Bark finish and the 1811 with Moire finish, also called the Morellis finish. These case decorations include fine and delicate engravings and decorations on the bezel, lugs and on bracelet links.
Here's a breathtaking and super rare Rolex Day Date reference 1807 in white gold. The finish on the bezel and bracelet center links is called 'Bark' finish and reminds us of the skin of a tree. The Bark finish was hand decorated and has a very unique appeal, especially when light comes into play. The denim blue dial is in mint condition and bears diamond markers. The case decorations on case and bracelet remain super crisp and give it a very glamorous look.
Even in yellow gold the 1807 is a rare watch to be found in good condition but in white gold these are extremely rare and difficult to come by, especially in this condition.
A truly rare watch for the passionate and discerning collector. Pictures don't do justice, this watch on the wrist, be it with a suit or a Polo shirt looks just stunning.
