Some might say the best size for a Royal Oak is the 39mm Classic Jumbo size however not all wrists can take such a size on a daily basis. Apart from the Jumbo, there are numerous variants made between 30 and 37mm and the best one seems to be the 36mm. The reference that embodies this size is the 14790 that has been made in stainless steel, two tone and in full gold.
The example offered here is the 14790ST in stainless steel that was sold in 2002. The watch bears the classic black ribbed dial with the AP logo positioned at the 12 o'clock position. The dial is in exceptional condition without any peeling that is very common for these. The lumes have aged to a nice creamy color and are matching the hands.
The case and bracelet are in beautiful condition that is showing some light wear from age but retains the original bevels and finish.
This beautiful example comes in a full set with its original Octagonal leather box, original Certificate and booklet.
