This exquisite Rolex Lady Datejust Ref. 69178 in solid 18k yellow gold is a masterclass in bold vintage elegance. Produced in the early 1992, this timepiece features the magnificent midnight blue sunburst dial. The iconic Ladies President.
The 26mm Oyster case remains in beautiful and strong condition, with sharp lugs, crisp edges, and a well-preserved dial untouched by time. Well-proportioned and just as neat as it needs to be to go on a sophisticated lady’s wrist.
The President bracelet shows some signs of age but truly had a great care taker for the last 33 years as it only shows very light wear from age. The links remain crisp and well defined.
The dial is sheer perfection, a midnight blue dial with sunburst finish. While one may say that blue is not rare it is a color that rarely shows up. Here in excellent condition with beautifully aged luminous dots and matching hands.
What truly sets this example apart is the full, collector-grade presentation it comes with — the watch is housed in the extremely rare red Rolex box, embroidered with roses motif, a rarity by itself reflecting the old time’s charm.
