Last week, the cozy ambiance of Flat12 Cafe hosted a three-day vintage pop-up store by Icons of the Past, a Momentum’s new concept that brings together the rarest vintage watches with other selected collectibles like the iconic eyewear collection from The Collectors Corner, the first Emirati brand specialized in vintage eyewear.
Amidst the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the chatter of existing and new friends, our collection of timeless treasures took center stage. From vintage watches to exquisite accessories and eyewear, our pop-up store offered a delightful journey with a retro charm.
Flat12 – A Cozy Space Where Dream Cars Meet The Best Hospitality
Flat12, one of the most popular Dubai destination for car lovers and enthusiast, hosted us for this three-days pop-up store.
The setting was perfect: a cozy mix of lounge areas and mesmerizing cars, a great bar serving a wide range of crazy-good dishes and drinks. Not joking: The best burger I’ve ever had in Dubai so far? I had it last week at Flat12.
Our set up was just perfect, a lounge area with some comfortable sofas where to chill, chat, and check the products, and five line of showcases filled with vintage watches, accessories, and a cool eyewear from The Collector’s Corner.
A curated selection of more than fifty watches featuring some of the rarest Rolex models, including iconic Day-Dates like this Onyx dial version , the classic Datejust and more sporty Daytona like this Patrizzi dial, perfectly matching the racing vibes of the location, full of Porsche, Ferrari and other cool classic cars.
The Collector’s Corner, with their extensive expertise in vintage and rare eyewear, displayed a fine selection of sunglasses. Famous brands like Cartier, Movado, Longines, Fred’s, Nina Ricci, YSL and Dior were displayed with watches from the same brands to increase the storytelling and the experience.
An Immersive Experience
Over these three nights, we were happy to welcome many guests and friends who came to support and hang out together, giving them and all the other visitors also the opportunity to try on their favorite watches or take pics wearing a stylish pair of NOS Cartier sunglasses.
In line with the theme of the event, many guests were double wristing, wearing some vey interesting stuff, from vintage Rolex models, to Audemars Piguet perpetual calendar, Bovets, and others rare watches.
