The Datejust is probably the most iconic watch from the Rolex line up and we guess its also the most ever sold model. Having been produced in multiple configurations the 1601 with fluted bezel seems to take the crown when it comes to the iconic status of the watch.
The example offered is made of stainless steel with white gold bezel and believe it or not, the watch looks like new. With only a few handling marks and zero stretch on the factory rolled and unsized Jubilee bracelet it seems that it was only taken out of the box to be admired and then locked away again. The silver dial is flawless and retains the original luminous material, also on the hands.
It is a miracle to see a 54 years-old watch in unpolished, mint and almost new condition and the condition makes the watch look so much better. A real stunner.
