Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan       - This insanely beautiful Datejust dates back to 1968 and is made of stainless steel and 18k pink gold. In the last 54 years the pink gold has patina'd a lot giving it a glamorous character. The dial is mesmerizing. The black gloss combined with pink gold graphics make it look very royal and the Signature of the President of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan is printed above the Chronometer rating. This was issued by the UAE government and done locally in the UAE. The graphics and hands are so pink that they have a beautiful copper tone, the doorstep indexes at 6 and 9 look stunning. The case, bezel and bracelet are in such good condition making us assume that whoever got this watch from the Royal Family, decided to wear it only occasionally. This 1968 Datejust was likely gifted to a dignitary as a gesture of goodwill soon after the Sheikh became the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi in early 1969. With its rare dial inscription, unique patina and vintage appeal, this stunning Datejust oozes a characterful aesthetic that very few watches can compete with.

Case Excellent steel and pink gold case that shows only little wear from age. The fluted bezel is also in excellent condition. The pink gold color is very prominent and crown is pink too. Numbers between the lugs are crisp and fully intact.
Bracelet / Strap Excellent rolled Jubilee in excellent condition and showing only little wear from age. Clasp is matching and is stamped 4/68
Dial Excellent black glossy doorstep dial with pink gold graphics and signature 'Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan'. The luminous material is original on dial and hands, has aged to a beautiful brownish color
