1953 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Gilt Ref. 6084

This little Oyster is a gem - it has what we collectors are looking for when buying a Vintage Rolex. The 6084 reference was predominantly produced in either steel or gold, the two tone variant however was produced in smaller numbers. The black gilt dial and hands still bears radium material, causing a good reaction on the Geiger. The dial has tropicalized in some areas of the dial giving the watch a killer look. Further the watch is fitted with the original two tone bracelet with spring loaded links and straight end links. Now if we add up all of these characteristics it kind of ticks all the boxes. This watch was given to the General Manager of the Bank of Nova Scotia in Canada in 1953 as a reward for Leadership as engraved on the case back. I wish this watch could speak and tell us it's story.
