Description
While we condemn smoking we cannot not admire what cool smoking memorabilia is out there. Lighters and ashtrays have become objects of desire, even if not actively used.
This St. Dupont lighter, presumably from the 1990s is finished in their iconic ‘Laque de Chine’ in black and on a gilt base. The lighter is a bit smaller than the traditional St. Dupont lighters, at the same time a little thicker than them. The base of the lighter shows very fine grooves that give better grip when holding it, additionally it enhances the aesthetics and pronounces the black lacquer part. This part is adorned with the UAE Coat of Arms, also called the ‘Quraysh Hawk’ that we occasionally find on Rolex dials that were issued for the UAE government. The logo is applied in gilt and shows the national emblem, a Hawk with a Dhow inside.
The UAE Government is known to be very generous when it comes to gifts for their people, Military, Guests and affiliates. This lighter is a great piece of UAE memorabilia
