This Rolex GMT Master II is an early example of the reference 16710 and dates to 1991. It has the sought after Tritium dial and hands, which positions this watch in the vintage segment, though it has a sapphire crystal and some modern specs. The case is very strong and seems to have been only lightly polished in the past. The original fat font and serif insert is in very good condition with the red portion of the insert having slightly aged to a lighter shade. Apart from being a very early example and having the Tritium dial, this watch stands out because of its factory Jubilee bracelet making it an attractive combination of a sports watch with a dressy touch.
