Details
Cioccolatone
The watch that’s nicknamed after a square of chocolate, the Vacheron Constantin Cioccolatone in its iconic square shape from the 1950s.
The watch is made in Pink gold and looks absolutely stunning on the wrist, hard to believe that this size, even in this shape was being adopted in those days. The reference 4737 was produced in many configurations including date, subsidiary seconds, with Automatic and Manual winding movement. The current example bears the uncommon and rare manual movement and center seconds configuration. Another interesting detail on this 4737 is the fact that the distinct Maltese Cross is positioned at 6 and not on the classic position at 12.
The watch is overall in excellent condition with some parts of the case having patina'd over time. The superb example of the Cioccolatone comes on an old Vacheron strap and pink gold pin buckle. One of the most iconic watches from Vacheron Constantin in a stunning configuration and condition.
