Details
Sometimes a very plain and simple watch can become extremely attractive because of its condition. That's exactly the case with the Rolex Datejust 1603 we are offering here. This 1977 Datejust is as crisp as it gets. The case still retains the factory finishing making all the geometrical lines stand out, the reference sticker on the caseback is still present and intact after more than 40 years. The engine turned bezel is sharp and accentuates the finishing. The bracelet is original to the watch and hardly shows any wear. Now to the dial - the black matte pie pan dial looks like brand new not showing any wear from age. The nicely aged yellow lumes are perfect and matching the original hands. As if this was not enough, the watch comes with warranty paper dated in 1979 when the watch was firstly bought. This very mint 1603 will definitively stand out.

Brief History
Rolex Day-Date
Created to celebrate Rolex's 40th anniversary in 1954, the Rolex Datejust was the first automatic wristwatch to indicate the date on the dial, featuring the iconic window at 3 o'clock magnified by the Cyclops lens for enhanced legibility, and so far remains one of Rolex's best-selling watches.
