Meters First - The reference 5513 is undisputably the most iconic watch of all times and inevitably a must have for the passionate Vintage Rolex collector. With a production run of approx. 25 years the 5513 probably had the longest production run for a single Rolex reference creating a wide range of case and dial variants. Now to the watch on offer, this meters first example has it in it. The bezel is sharp and holds a matte faded fat font insert which has aged to a dark grey color changing shades in the sunlight. The watch comes on a 9315 folded Submariner bracelet with later clasp and diving extension. The dial is a original and matching MK1 with Meters First depth rating. Its striking and bears the typical grainy surface with waffle lumes, typical for the era. The lume plots have aged to a vivid cream-yellow color and minty matching hands. The watch still retains a Dome crystal adding much to the character of this watch. This is a very nice 5513 of highest sentiments
