Pumpkin Patina - The 5513 reference has been produced for about 30 years and comes in multiple dial variations and there is no other reference from Rolex which embodies such a strong Rolex DNA like a 5513. One of the later dials came with is the Maxi dial, known to have larger lume plots than earlier versions. The version known to have the largest lume plots on a 5513 is the MK3 dial which is also the most desirable one among collectors and enthusiasts. Here we have a killer example of the MK3 Maxi Submariner with a mint dial with dark aged pumpkin patina on the lume plots and hands. The contrast with black and Pumpkin is super attractive and we don't remember seeing many in this hue. The bezel is sharp and crisp holding a correct insert with original Tritium pearl. The entire watch has a fully homogenius condition and looks very strong on the wrist. This is a superb example of a the most iconic tool watch of all times and there are not many around with this really strong pumpkin patina.
