Hard to believe that about 70 years ago people travelled with valuable and delicate objects like this. This beautiful traveling compendium has a heavy gilt brass carrying case which is resting on a gilt trimmed white marble base. One side contains an 8 day lever clock with Tiffany & Co signed roman white enamel dial and beautifully engraved gilt mask around, the other side equally in white enamel Tiffany signed with engraved mask displaying an Aneroid Barometer and a Thermometer on the back side. The time piece comes with its original leather covered wooden case with bevelled glass front and carrying handle.
