1960's Rolex Ladies Cocktail Watch 14K Diamonds Ref. 8418

Cocktail Time - Here is a very pretty and cute Rolex Cocktail watch that, given the fact that it was made in 14K, was sold in the United States. Import taxes on gold were high in those days hence many watches imported to the US were made in 14K. The design is very classy and old school. The very small case is set with 22 fairly large diamonds around the Silver dial. The dial is fitted with baton markers of which the 3, 6 and 9 markers are held in black and are matching with the hands. The bracelet is very old-school and shows a woven design all the way down to the clasp. The watch is in very good condition and was presumably made in the 1940s.
