The Original - when we talk about reversible watches these days, our mind is immediately drawn to the Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso. But while the Reverso has a horizontally flipping system, Cartier had their own interpretation in the early 1930s of how to design a watch which allows you protect the dial side. It is hard to believe that the Cartier Tank Basculante was designed for sports but yes, there are a lot of things which are hard to believe, this is one of them. The watch is retained in an incredible condition with a fully functional cabriolet system. The case retains all its hallmarks, Cartier inventory numbers and serial number. Its like a miracle that even after more than 50 years this watch is in the condition it is in. We love miracles.
