1969 Rolex GMT Master MK1 Ref. 1675 (with Box & Papers)
The Vintage Pepsi - This incredible GMT Master 1675 is full or character. The case is fat and strong featuring beautiful bevels on the lugs even after more than 50 years. The flawless dial has taken on a beautiful patina on the lumes, I would say a strong Vanilla color. The original fat font insert has taken on a degrading light blue color with a copper colored lower part adding a lot to the character of this GMT. To round it up and make it even more attractive, this watch comes with its box and papers as a nice collector's set.
|Case||Very strong case that has been lightly polished in the past and shows some wear from age. The fat lugs are thick and show factory bevels. Reference and serial numbers are fully intact and readable. The insert is a correct fat font and in great condition. The colors have faded to a beautiful light blue and copper color|
|Bracelet / Strap||The 7836 folded Oyster bracelet is matching and shows moderate stretch for the age. Clasp is stamped 1/69, 13 links|
|Dial||Excellent MK1 'Long E' dial with strong patina on the lumes. The dial is flawless and free of any bubbling, deterioration or tool marks. The hands are original and have aged a bit darker than the lumes on the dial|

The GMT Master was launched in 1954 and designed in collaboration with Pan American Airways, with an extra 24h hour hand and bi-color bezel that allowed pilots to track two time zones across day and night. The GMT Master is characterised by an automatic movement and the iconic dual-colour bezel that represents each of the 24 hours in a day.
