1976 Rolex Orchid 18K Diamond Bezel Dial Ref. 5116

Orchid - The Rolex Orchid is a very uncommon model from the brand with the crown. On the first look it could be identified as a Cellini and from our research it may be a model that has only been made for ladies. First of all, this 1976 watch made in 18K gold is in like new condition. The case and bracelet barely show handling marks, we believe it was tucked away some 48 years ago. The case is very unusual, bears a octagonal Bamboo style bezel that is decorated with white gold fittings holding 8 diamonds. The inner part of the case is oxidized and is showing patina from age. The dial is kept simple with baton markers and black double markers at 3, 6 and 9, matching the hands. The beautiful Mesh bracelet is is strong as on day one and beautifully complementing the case.
