1978 ROLEX SEA DWELLER AHMED SEDDIQI & SONS REF. 1665 (SUPER FULL SET)

Back in Dubai - very thrilled to offer this stunning Rolex Sea Dweller 1665 in stunning condition and super full set. This watch was purchased by a German Business Man who travelled to Dubai for business in 1978. He bought it  from the Authorized Dubai Rolex Dealer Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the only Rolex AD in Dubai. The watch remains in excellent condition with a strong and sharp case that has been lightly polished in the past but is still showing nice bevelling which the 1665 is loved for. The bracelet is fully linked and only shows very little wear from age, and the links remain equally sharp like the case. The dial is flawless and not showing any wear to the naked eye and even when louped. The lume plots have aged to a vanilla color and are original, the hands are Service replacements. The watch comes with everything it was sold with, inner Pyramid and outer Seahorse box,  translation booklet, original Warranty certificate, dated and stamped by Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, booklets, anker and serial hang tag. Looking at the  condition of the watch, this watch was only worn sparkingly on occasions and kept in the bank safe for most of its life. Watches can travel the world and all have a story, we love the story of how this watch found its way back to Dubai, 44 years after it was initially sold.
