The Cartier Santos reference 2961 is one of the most recognizable interpretations of Cartier’s classic Santos design, combining clean geometry with everyday elegance. The model’s signature square case, exposed bezel screws and integrated bracelet give it a distinct presence that has made the Santos a long-standing staple in Cartier’s watchmaking.

This example is fitted with the lacquered burgundy dial, a variation produced to mark the 90th anniversary of the Santos. The deep tone adds a subtle twist to the familiar layout, while the blued sword hands retain the unmistakable Cartier aesthetic.

The stainless steel case with yellow gold accents is well preserved, showing crisp edges and nicely defined surfaces. The matching two-tone bracelet complements the case perfectly and gives the watch the balanced sport-luxury character the Santos is known for.
