Details
The Porcelain dial is a very rare dial version and became firstly known with the R Series Rolex Daytona with Zenith movement. Mainly available in yellow gold casing but also in stainless steel case in smaller numbers. It is sought after firstly because of its collectibility but also because of its pure white aesthetics. This Rolex Datejust is also a R Series example and is fitted a white Porcelain dial which indicates that the Porcelain dial was also made for other references. We would imagine there must be one on a Day Date too but we haven't come across one yet. This is the only Porcelain dial Datejust we have seen so far and believe it to be very rare. Apart from being precious and important, the watch is also in mint condition with a very strong case and flawless dial. We believe that the Roulette date has been added late.
