Cacholong - Rolex has, in very limited quantities used exotic materials of different kinds to make some outstanding dials. Among the group of stone dials there is a dial that is not much seen around. It is the White Cacholong dial which comes from the Opal family. The dial surface is very pure, having a natural milky white pattern. The dial is decorated with applied numerals for the six and 9 o clock indexes. Both hold a small diamond in the numeral. The white color dial melts beautifully with the yellow gold case which is in sharp condition. The lugs remain straight and even and are not showing much wear from age. The bracelet is in matching mint condition and doesn't show much stretch from age. This indeed very rare and beautiful and early 18238 Day Date comes with its original Warranty Certificate and Service Invoices. The Cacholong Day Date stands out because of its very unusual and rare dial and for us is among the most beautiful stone dials Rolex has used.
