Hard stone dials Rolex watches have become harder to track down and are mostly found on Day Dates, however there is a small number of gold Datejusts equipped with stone dials too. We have here a killer example of a Rolex Datejust with original Onyx dial. The watch is in excellent condition and only shows light wear from age. The factory Onyx dial is from the last generation featuring the 'Swiss' signature at 6 and has matching non lume hands. The fact that it has a Jubilee bracelet makes it even more outstanding and quickly distinguishable from the Day Date.

Brief History
Rolex Datejust
Released in 1945 to celebrate the brand’s 40th anniversary, the Datejust was the first automatic chronometer wristwatch to indicate the date through a window on the dial. The Datejust is characterized by its date window under the ‘cyclops’ window. Iconic vintage Datejusts were made in 36mm case diameter, with a range of steel and precious metal versions.
