Looks Marble but is Howlite - an excellent example of a Rolex Day Date 18238 from 1991 with rare and original Marble or to be correct 'Howlite dial'. The 18238 reference has the updgraded movement Ca. 3155 with double quick date function. Every Marble dial is different and bears a natural pattern, the veins on this one are very light and not too bold like on some examples. The day of the week is displayed in german language, matching perfectly with the LC 100 German Warranty certificate. We are pleased to offer this watch in a super full set with original Warranty Certificate, RCS Card & invoice, booklets, card holder and box. This is how we all like them.

The Day-Date is the top model in the Rolex line-up and comes in an array of configurations with rare and special dials and case decorations. It has only ever been made in precious metals with Automatic movements and historically with an elegant diameter of 36mm - the perfect size for an iconic dress watch.
