The Onyx Day Date - Rolex has manufactured Hard Stone dials in very limited numbers and due to the nature of the materials we would classify them as Exotic dials. The favorite among collectors and those who aspire to be is the Onyx dial. The Onyx dial is known for its simplicity, the stone does not show any veins or patterns, it is pitch black and melts beautifully with gold cases. The example offered here is a  very glamorous 18338 with Onyx dial fitted with the 6 and 9 diamond markers. The case is also not for the fainted heart, the lugs are decorated with 7 diamonds on each of the lugs which beautifully complement the dial. A very elegant and exclusive version of the Onyx Day Date, will definitively catch some attention.
