Monochromatic - Rolex over the years manufactured Day Day Dates only in precious metals, yellow gold, white gold, rose gold and platinum. The largest number of Day Dates are in yellow gold, by far the rarest are in Platinum. To mark the top model of the Day Date collection it has a domed bezel as opposed to the fluted bezel and some others. Offered here is a very attractive example of the Rolex Day Date Ref.18206 from 1996 in Platinum. The very strong case and bracelet are in excellent condition retaining sharp edges and factory finishing. The silver-grey no lume dial is in flawless condition and fitted with factory diamonds on the indexes. We love the overall monochrome look of the watch, simplicity at its finest.

Arguably one of the most iconic watches ever made, the Day-Date aka the Rolex President was introduced in 1956 and was the first to feature both the day and date in dedicated windows on the dial.
The Day-Date is the top model in the Rolex line-up and comes in an array of configurations with rare and special dials and case decorations. It has only ever been made in precious metals with Automatic movements and historically with an elegant diameter of 36mm - the perfect size for an iconic dress watch.
