Details
The Day Date is probably one of the best value for money Rolexes when it comes to vintage models. While this piece classifies as vintage age wise it has everything a modern version has too. The Day Date debuted in 1956 as the first Rolex with the date and day displayed in a window on the dial. Over the years there were many references which never went far from the initial iconic design. The 18238 was launched in 1990 and is equipped with the upgraded Ca.3155 movement which provides a double quick setting of the calendar as opposed to older references which required a lot of winding to get to the right setting. This very watch is in great condition and features a deep white non-lume lacquer dial with beautiful bold applied roman numerals, pure elegance and a powerful appearance on the wrist.
