Description
A small object with a great deal of character. Made in France during the second half of the 20th century, this Hermès cigarette box is crafted in sterling silver, with a compact square shape and finely textured sides that catch the light beautifully.
Open the lid and you find a warm wood-lined interior, a lovely contrast to the cool silver exterior. Originally intended for cigarettes, the box would be just as appealing today for storing small keepsakes. It is marked “925 Sterling Silver Hermès Paris” — a fine detail on a piece that shows how much attention the house gave to everyday objects.
