Circa 1955 Jaeger-LeCoultre Nautical Table Clock

Description

This is a wonderfully unusual Jaeger-LeCoultre clock from the mid-1950s. Made from brass, glass and rope, its tall, narrow form takes its cues from nautical objects of the period. The small circular dial is signed Jaeger-LeCoultre, while the surrounding structure gives the clock much more presence than its size suggests.

It stands 23 cm high and would look particularly good on a desk or among books and other collected objects. A charming example of the imaginative table clocks Jaeger-LeCoultre made beyond its familiar wristwatches.
