| Case | Excellent thick stainless steel case. The original factory bevels are wide and visible. Reference and serial numbers are fully intact. Overall the case does not have much wear from age considering the watch is 58 years old |

| Dial | Excellent two liner gilt dial with chapter ring signed 'Swiss'. The surface is very glossy and is showing some wear from age but not much, there are some drag marks from the hour hand which is very common for the early gilt dials. However those are not visible with the naked eye. |

Brief History
Rolex Submariner
Released in 1954 at the Basel Watch Fair, the Submariner was the first watch to be water-resistant to 100m. The most recognizable watch in the Rolex line-up.
