Vintage Hermes Writing Leather Desk Box, 1950s

What an incredible object - who knew that in the 1950s there was something like a traveling lap desk box, we didn't. This is a mobile desk made of the finest leather with gilt brass lock and from probably the most prestigious brand we can imagine to do so. It has a writing surface with storage pockets for documents. It even comes with the original keys and is in great condition. The initials J.H.F are embossed on the opening flap. Signed Hermes on the base.
