Therefore, we are thrilled to announce an exclusive partnership with The Collector's Corner, the first Emirati brand specializing in vintage eyewear.
The Collector's Corner, established in 2013 by long-time friends Ahmed M.S. Al Aqeeli and Adel Galadari, has been at the forefront of the vintage eyewear movement in the GCC. Inspired by a shared passion for collecting unique designer glasses, the duo founded The Collector's Corner, a Dubai-based brand dedicated to the sale of vintage designer glasses, to bring a touch of vintage style to the fashion-conscious community in the region. The presence on several local events in the past decade, as well as word of mouth and their vast network has helped to establish a reputable name in the community.
It all began when Ahmed Al Aqeeli stumbled upon a captivating photo of the late H.H. Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan, founder of the UAE, wearing a pair of stylish CARRERA sunglasses that caught his eyes. Determined to identify, search for, and acquire those distinctive glasses, the two friends embarked on a journey that led them to challenge each other to identify and locate eyewear worn by other Sheikhs and celebrities in the past.
Their ever-expanding collection, featuring an impressive selection of iconic vintage eyewear from renowned brands such as Cartier, Longines, Carrera, and Gerald Genta, alongside famous designs featured in classic movies, fueled their determination to share their passion with a wider audience. This commitment to preserving the beauty and craftsmanship of vintage style culminated in the establishment of The Collector's Corner, a business rooted in the rich history and distinctive charm of vintage eyewear.
Established in 2011, Momentum has established as a powerhouse in the vintage watch industry, specializing in iconic Rolex watches and offering a curated selection that includes treasures from prestigious brands such as Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Patek Philippe, and more. Beyond watches, Momentum also provides its clientele with a diverse range of accessories and collectibles, establishing itself as a go-to destination for vintage aficionados.
The Co-founder Tariq Malik, with over 25 years of hands-on experience, is a passionate collector and expert in vintage Rolex watches, particularly rare Day-Date and Datejust references. His and his partners’ visionary goal in founding Momentum was to elevate Dubai’s global prominence in the vintage watch arena, establishing it as a thriving hub. Tariq's extensive network and influence in the global Vintage Watch Community reflect his commitment to excellence and that’s why, at Momentum, our dedication is centered on creating trust, building open relationships, and delivering top-notch service quality without compromise.
